HUMAN AUTOLOGOUS STEM CELLS

An autologous stem cell transplant replaces a patient's stem cells that have been damaged by radiation or highdose chemotherapy treatment. Autologous stem cell transplantation is most commonly utilised to treat blood malignancies including leukaemia and lymphoma.
